To enable the growth of the UAL Creative Computing Institute into Computer Science, Data Science and AI, I worked with Pete Newman to redevelop the spaces ready for teaching in September 2024.
The building was a former site of the London College of Fashion, which relocated to Stratford. The building was quite tired as they ran it down before the move.
The project's objective was to refurbish the main areas of the building so that it could host teaching and technical facilities for UAL Creative Computing Institute, as well as office and meeting space.
By redividing the spaces, we were able to create:
2x classrooms of 96 and 48 seats
16x Staff Office Desks
6x Meeting Rooms
1x Technical Lab
